This print was created from an original Georgia Jane painting depicting a section of the beautiful Harbor Town park bordering the shore of the Mississippi River. Harbor Town was designed as a new urbanist-style neighborhood in Memphis, Tennessee in 1989. The community sits atop 132 acres on a sandbar in the Mississippi River known as Mud Island. According to the developers, the neighborhood was created to "emphasize the human rather than the automobile.” Today, Harbor Town offers traditional row houses, contemporary homes, apartments, shops, restaurants, schools, parks, & a marina.
